A week following the launch of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Warhorse Studios officially endorsed mod support on PC platforms. Regrettably, the developers didn’t disclose a specific rollout date for the modding tool, but they did confirm that it’s in development—something which wasn’t entirely certain earlier.
The Czech company plans to offer the specified tool via Steamworks; further details about this will be shared with us shortly. It’s important to mention that the original game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, got mod support on Nexus Mods around a year following its release.
The community is sure to rejoice at this announcement, particularly because early modifications for the sequel are already emerging. Mentioning the modification that lifts the save-state restriction would be sufficient.
In Steam, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has garnered more than 32,000 reviews thus far, with an impressive 91% of those reviews being favorable. Additionally, many players have invested significant time in the game, with a remarkable peak of 256,206 concurrent users playing on Valve’s platform at once.
Additionally, the success of the RPG is further underscored by its impressive sales figures. On the very first day following its release, it managed to sell more than a million copies, demonstrating the vast fanbase drawn towards Henry’s adventures.
