The uprising is underway, as hinted in the exciting sneak peek for the long-awaited sixth season of The Handmaid’s Tale.

As a dedicated fan of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” I’ve been eagerly waiting for the sixth season, but it seems we’ll have to hold on a bit longer. Originally planned for last year, the delay was unfortunately caused by some industry-wide strikes in Hollywood that disrupted our usual schedule. So, here’s hoping we’ll finally get to dive back into Gilead soon!

When is The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 release date?

The much-anticipated sixth and concluding season of the dystopian drama series adapted from Margaret Atwood’s 1985 novel will debut on Hulu on April 8th. The trailer starts with Elisabeth Moss’ character, June Osborne, delivering a voiceover about the distinctive deep red gowns worn by oppressed women. She says, “They thought these clothes they dressed us in defined our identity. To identify us, they made us wear red – the color of blood. Yet, they failed to remember that it’s also the color of fury.

In the narrative, it’s clear that the dress served as a common attire, turning them into a united group. This group, in turn, transformed into a force to be reckoned with. Towards the end of the video, June Osborne is seen rallying her comrades for revolution, declaring defiantly, “We shall not tremble before evil.
