Just as in Bloodborne, I prefer a playstyle where I select a build that appeals visually or plays enjoyably, stubbornly refusing to alter my gear, even if a boss seems impenetrable. However, it’s clear that the Wildspire developers are aiming for a different kind of gameplay experience.

They inform RPG Site that because these final-stage creatures aren’t essential for completing the main storyline and are optional battles instead, they find it acceptable to challenge players with the need to create a more intricate character setup or strategy.

Farming particular weapons or armor in Monster Hunter Wilds indeed makes the game more of a grind, but it also prevents us from finishing the game too swiftly and then complaining about a lack of content. The developers find themselves in a tough spot; they’re criticized whether they include farming or not.
