Focus Features has formally disclosed the release date for The Phoenician Scheme, shedding light on when the much-awaited film by Wes Anderson is expected to premiere.

As per reports from Focus Features, the movie titled “The Phoenician Scheme” is scheduled for a limited debut on May 30, 2025. A broader release is planned a week later, specifically on June 6, 2025. Within the United States, Focus Features will be responsible for the distribution, while Universal Pictures International will manage international distribution for this project.

Under Anderson’s supervision, “The Phoenician Scheme” will not only be penned but also directed. Roman Coppola is set to contribute as a co-writer as well. Currently, details about the movie are scarce, but Focus Features hints that it revolves around “a family and their business.” There’s buzz in the air that the film might take an espionage comedy approach.
