Actress Madelyn Cline is now part of the cast joining Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz in the upcoming action-thriller “Day Drinker,” which Marc Webb will direct for Lionsgate.
Actress Madeline Cline, who will once again take center stage in the Netflix series “Outer Banks” during its final fifth season, is also slated to appear in Sony’s remake of “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and Amazon MGM’s production titled “The Map That Leads to You”.
Titled “Day Drinker,” this latest project from Johnny Depp represents his most prominent work in recent years, following the publicity surrounding his divorce with Amber Heard. The story revolves around a cruise ship bartender who encounters an enigmatic daily drinker. However, their casual acquaintance leads them both into the criminal underworld and reveals unforeseen connections between them. Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, producers of the Lionsgate-backed John Wick series, along with Adam Kolbrenner and Zach Dean, are the film’s producers.
