VD12: Suriya becomes a special part of Vijay Deverakonda starrer and you won’t believe how

Actor Vijay Deverakonda will once again light up the big screen with his upcoming movie VD12. This upcoming action-drama is currently being actively filmed and is projected to premiere in cinemas during the summer of 2025. Now, the Gowtham Tinnanuri directed film has secured a powerful new cast member.

The creators of project VD12 (previously known as Twitter) shared a behind-the-scenes look at the voice recording process for their upcoming teaser featuring Vijay Deverakonda. In the Tamil version, it is Suriya who will be providing the narration for this promo.

Giving a sneak peek at an unforgettable scene, creators wrote, “In the story of a king who was born to rule, we have an impressive newcomer. The highly respected @Suriya_offl has lent his voice to the Tamil teaser for VD12! Prepare yourselves for February 12th!

Initially planned for a cinema release on March 28, 2025, the movie VD12 was pushed back unexpectedly. According to a report from 123 Telugu, it’s anticipated that this action-thriller will now premiere on May 30 instead.

Nonetheless, even though there’s a lot of excitement about it, neither the creators nor the actors themselves have provided an official statement regarding this issue.

Simultaneously preparing for VD12, Vijay Deverakonda recently made a trip to the ongoing Mahakumbh 2025. Alongside his mother, the actor known from “Dear Comrade” immersed himself in the sacred waters of the Ganges.
