What else do we know about Euphoria Season 3?
In simple terms, we can expect Euphoria Season 3 to comprise eight episodes. Initially, it was speculated that the third season might skip ahead by five years, but as of now, specific details about the storyline for the upcoming installment are still being kept confidential.
Casey Bloys from HBO announced in January 2025 through Variety that they’ve begun filming Euphoria. He added that the production is set to start sometime between mid and late January, but there have been no changes since then. Rumors started circulating online based on someone’s speculation, but rest assured, we are indeed shooting the season. I’ve read the scripts, and everyone involved is content. We’re progressing smoothly, and all our actors are part of the show.
In addition to Zendaya playing Ruby “Rue” Bennett, the ensemble of Euphoria also features Alexa Demie portraying Madeleine “Maddy” Perez, Jacob Elordi as Nathaniel “Nate” Jacobs, Hunter Schafer in the role of Jules Vaughn, Sydney Sweeney taking on Cassandra “Cassie” Howard, Maude Apatow as Alexis “Lexi” Howard, Dominic Fike as Elliot, and Colman Domingo portraying Ali Muhammed.
Actress Barbie Ferreira, known for her role as Katherine “Kat” Hernandez in Euphoria’s first season and a limited presence in the second, will not be appearing in the third season. Similarly, Storm Reid, portraying Rue’s sister Gia, has also decided to sit out the third season due to scheduling issues.
A premiere date for Euphoria’s third season has not yet been announced by HBO.
