A trailer for Apple’s upcoming racing movie featuring Brad Pitt was unveiled during the major football event, this one set in the F1 arena. Scheduled for release in 2025, the film boasts an impressive cast that includes Lewis Hamilton, Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, among others. Joseph Kosinski, who directed Top Gun: Maverick, is at the helm of this project.

In this thrilling narrative, I find myself cheering for none other than Pitt, a former racer making a comeback in Formula 1. By his side is Damson Idris, our teammate at APXGP, a fictitious powerhouse on the grid. What makes this feature even more intriguing is that it was filmed during actual Grand Prix weekends, placing us right in the thick of the action as we go head-to-head with the giants of the sport. What do we know about the F1 movie?

Film F1 is helmed by Joseph Kosinski, a director renowned for creating Tron: Legacy (2010), Oblivion (2013), Only the Brave (2017), Top Gun: Maverick and Spiderhead (both in 2022). He is also credited with scripting the storyline for Twisters, scheduled for release in 2024.

Besides the previously mentioned actors, we also have Formula 1 racers Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, Simone Ashley, and Samson Kayo joining the cast.

The movie was penned by Ehren Kruger. Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, and others at Jerry Bruckheimer Films are involved in production, along with Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner from Plan B Entertainment. Hamilton is also a producer under his Dawn Apollo Films label, and Penni Thow serves as an executive producer.
