Although Sony’s separate Spider-Man spinoff movie projects might not be moving forward, they are actively developing ideas for Spider-Man TV series spin-offs instead.
The initial project underway will be a live-action TV series titled “Spider-Noir,” featuring Nicholas Cage returning to portray the Spider-Man Noir character, a role he played in the animated “Spider-Verse” films.
The ensemble of the series “Spider-Noir ” has been expanding as filming continues, with two fresh additions announced recently. They include Amy Aquino, recognized for her role as Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan’s therapist in Marvel’s “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier“, and Andrew Robinson from “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine“. The specific roles of these actors are currently being kept confidential.
As a devoted cinephile, I’d like to share my thoughts on a captivating series that transports us to an alternate Marvel universe, 1930s New York City. Here, we encounter Spider-Man Noir, a seasoned private investigator who stands alone as the city’s lone superhero.
Spider-Noir will stream exclusively on MGM+ before expanding to Amazon Prime Video.
