Gale expressed, “People often ask when a ‘Back to the Future 4’ might happen, and we respond with something like, ‘Not now, thanks.’ He then brought up the worldwide touring stage adaptation of Back to the Future, which he’s deeply involved in. So, it seems, ‘Back to the Future,’ will be a significant part of my career for years to come.

Gale’s remarks, albeit more direct, mirror what Robert Zemeckis stated during his interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast last year. Essentially, he implied that a fourth movie is highly unlikely.
