Rumor has it that one of the reasons we haven’t seen a second season for “WandaVision” or “Agatha All Along” is due to the creator, Jac Schaeffer, deciding not to proceed with these series. This speculation has been around for some time, but actress Patti LuPone recently confirmed it on Andy Cohen’s podcast.
Jac Schaeffer, the showrunner, visited my trailer and told me, “Patti, I’m only here to inform you that Lilia is going to pass away,” and I replied, “But I was hoping for a second season…” She responded, “I don’t do second seasons.” She explained, “They asked me to create a second season of WandaVision, but I chose not to.” She added, “There’s too much story to write,” so she plans one-off episodes instead. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping for the chance to collaborate with her again because she’s incredibly talented.
An additional possible explanation might be that viewership for the Agatha series was quite low. However, there’s a chance Kathryn Hahn could still show up in the upcoming Vision-centric series that’s being developed. It seems her character hasn’t been fully written off just yet.
