The Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer has set a new record for Marvel Studios.
On Tuesday, 4th February, 2025, Marvel unveiled the initial trailer for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”. This movie is due to be in theaters starting July. Over the course of its first day on various media outlets, it garnered roughly 202 million views.
What MCU records did The Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer break?
By the set deadline, it holds the record for the highest number of views among non-sequel Marvel Studios films. It ranks third out of all Marvel Studios productions, surpassed only by Deadpool/Wolverine (with 365 million) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (with 335 million).
It’s highly probable that The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be a massive financial success, given that Deadpool and Wolverine raked in an impressive $1.3 billion at the global box office, and Spider-Man: No Way Home concluded its run with an astonishing $1.95 billion.
To put it simply, The Fantastic Four: First Steps may encounter stiff rivalry at the cinema. Jurassic World Rebirth is set to premiere around three weeks prior to its release, and James Gunn’s DCU Superman movie follows a week later.

In a colorful, futuristic setting reminiscent of the 1960s, Marvel Studios presents The Fantastic Four: First Steps, featuring Marvel’s original family: Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). This unique group is thrust into their toughest challenge yet as they juggle their heroic duties with the ties of family. They must protect Earth from a voracious cosmic entity named Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his mysterious Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). To make matters worse, Galactus’ plan to consume the entire planet becomes a deeply personal issue.
On July 25, 2025, the movie “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is set to debut in American cinemas, marking its appearance during Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
