Producer Nate Moore from Marvel Studios has given out details about Denzel Washington’s part in “Black Panther 3.” Earlier, Washington himself announced that Ryan Coogler was writing a role specifically for him in the upcoming “Black Panther 3.” The follow-up to the 2022 film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is being worked on at present, with Coogler slated to resume his directorial duties.

In simpler terms, when asked about Denzel Washington’s part in Black Panther 3, Marvel Studios producer Nate Moore remained tight-lipped about the character’s details but confirmed that the role will be based on existing Marvel Universe (MCU) lore.
Moore shared with Screen Rant that if a decision is made (which they’re working on), it’s likely to be someone from the established universe. However, they mentioned that it’s still too early to determine who exactly this might be. The producer has been involved in the development of Black Panther 3 and revealed that they haven’t had extensive creative discussions with Ryan Coogler yet, as he’s currently wrapping up his project Sinners.
Nate Moore emphasized that it was still premature to disclose additional information about the project. Impressively praising Denzel Washington’s acting skills, he stated, “Given an actor as talented as Denzel Washington is interested, we’ll certainly find a solution to accommodate him.
In November 2024, Denzel Washington announced that Ryan Coogler was writing a part for him in Black Panther 3. However, as reported by SuperHeroHype in December 2024, the actor expressed regret to the director for discussing Black Panther 3 prematurely.
