It doesn’t seem like the the easiest task for Marvel to bring the Fantastic Four to the big screen.
Apart from the fact that fans worldwide are still shedding tears due to the absence of an impressive Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) installment following “Endgame”, it’s important to note that this isn’t the first time Marvel Comics has attempted to produce a film centered around one of its highly-favored superhero teams.
Previous installments of the Fantastic Four films weren’t well-received by critics or fans alike. Despite high anticipation for the upcoming movie starring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, the unveiling of the new trailer and promotional materials sparked a wave of criticism instead.
Fans Loved The Trailer But Not So Much The Posters
Although the trailer received acclaim for its Easter Eggs and a sneak peek of the cosmic menace Galactus, some eagle-eyed fans spotted that the accompanying posters appeared slightly out of place.
As a gamer, I hopped onto social media right away, taking a close look at the game’s poster. Fans were buzzing about the artwork, suggesting it might have been created by AI. Although the design was a bit off-putting, there were some details that really stood out. For one, there was a character with only four fingers, which is quite unusual. Additionally, two women in the background shared an uncanny resemblance – they had the same face!

Marvel Responds To AI Claims
After facing criticism, a representative from Marvel clarified to The Hollywood Reporter that they did not employ artificial intelligence when designing their posters.
Nevertheless, skepticism persisted among fans. On platform X, one user commented, “The hand with four fingers seems to contradict that,” while another posted on Reddit, “Why don’t they just employ an artist for the posters instead? I find this AI-generated work disappointing.
In conclusion, we can’t pinpoint the specific causes behind the unusual appearance of the movie posters, but as AI technology continues to grow and large corporations strive to cut expenses, it’s not implausible that Marvel might incorporate artificially generated elements into their merchandise.
What are your thoughts on the AI claims? Are you excited for the Fantastic Four movie anyway?
