Lionsgate has unveiled the initial trailer for the anticipated psychological thriller titled “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” featuring The Weeknd and Jenna Ortega in the leading roles.

Tomorrow, a film titled Hurry Up, is helmed by director Trey Edward Shults (known for It Comes at Night and Waves), and it’s jointly penned by Shultz, Reza Fahim, and Abel Tesfaye, who goes by the stage name The Weeknd. Joining Tesfaye and Ortega in this production are Barry Keoghan, Gabby Barrett, and Charli D’Amelio.

Although the specific storyline of the movie hasn’t been revealed yet, earlier reports hinted at similarities with the 1990 film Misery and focused on a mysterious individual harassing a renowned artist. In simpler terms, the film’s synopsis suggests that “a musician tormented by sleeplessness finds himself embarking on a journey with a stranger who gradually exposes the deepest aspects of his life.

In a recent statement, Tesfaye expressed that creating this movie was deeply introspective and healing for him. He discovered throughout the process of writing, filming, and post-production, how powerful this medium is in sparking discussions about personal feelings, mental wellbeing, and exposing vulnerabilities.
