The legal dispute between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively is progressing, with Baldoni recently launching a new website that delves into some of the ongoing court matters they are both involved in.
What is on the Justin Balldoni website?
The recently launched website is a creation by Baldoni’s team, consisting of PR head Melissa Nathan and attorney Bryan Freedman. Named “The Lawsuit Info,” it provides access to two distinct PDF files – one being an updated complaint filed against Lively by Baldoni, and the other outlining a chronology of significant events related to the case, as described by the team.
The new website is made by Baldoni’s group, which includes PR leader Melissa Nathan and attorney Bryan Freedman. It’s called “The Lawsuit Info” and has links to two PDF documents – one of them being an updated lawsuit complaint against Lively, while the other is a timeline of important events regarding the case, as referred to by the team.
In summary, two files are connected to legal documents provided by Baldoni’s team. One file containing 168 pages of detailed information about the initial disputes between Baldoni and Lively is labeled as the “relevant events” file. The second file is an updated complaint in PDF format, which is essentially a court filing made earlier this year against both Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
Since the release of videos depicting set activities on “It Ends With Us” by Freedman’s lawyer, Lively’s team has been pushing back strongly, asserting that Freedman has been attempting to manipulate public perception.
Lively’s complaint alleges that Baldoni created a hostile work environment
Baldoni’s lawsuit originated from a formal complaint lodged by Lively in December. In this complaint, she detailed incidents during the filming of “It Ends With Us” where she alleged a hostile work environment. During a subsequent meeting, Lively requested that Baldoni cease sharing explicit videos or images of women, stop discussing his pornography addiction with her, halt talks about sexual experiences in her presence, and also refrain from commenting on her weight.
The complaint alleges that Wayfarer Studios and the cast had an agreement where the movie’s promotion would emphasize the strong and resilient aspects of Lively’s character, rather than portraying it as a tale about domestic violence. However, Lively alleges that Baldoni went back on this deal by discussing the film’s heavy subject matter in interviews instead.
According to Lively’s statement, it was alleged that Baldoni and his public relations manager, Melissa Nathan, had conversations about initiating a social media smear campaign aimed at damaging her reputation. The filing by Lively includes approximately 22 pages of text exchanges between Baldoni’s representative and Nathan, which suggest they wished to see Lively “discredited.
