Alongside the debut of Civilization 7, there’s an abundance of fresh content to look forward to. Here, we’ve compiled all the information that has been disclosed thus far.
8 long years have passed since I last played Civ 6, and now, on February 11, Sid Meier’s Civilization 7, the latest installment in the beloved turn-based single-player strategy game series, is finally dropping. As a gamer, I can hardly contain my excitement to start building my own empire once again. Yet, even before we get to experience the main game, there are already several DLCs on the horizon that have me intrigued.
Given that previous franchise installments often deliver substantial expansion packs and downloadable content long after their launch, it’s reasonable for fans to anticipate that Civilization 7 will also benefit from a wealth of additional content – and the recently unveiled post-launch plan seems to validate their expectations.
In a recent blog post known as a “Developer’s Log”, Firaxis Games revealed exciting new content to come in 2025, ensuring players will have plenty to explore and engage with once they complete the primary game.
So, here is everything you need to know that will expand the world of Civilization 7.
Crossroads of the World – The First Paid Expansion
In the debut of “Civilization 7”, players can expect to construct and expand their empire across three distinct historical periods.
Every setting will offer an authentic sandbox environment filled with appropriate tools, abilities, and technological advancements that match the respective time period.
The initial paid addition to our game, titled “Crossroads on the World“, is being divided into two parts. The first part will be available at the start, while the second part will follow by the end of March.
