House of the Dragon Season 3 Cast Adds Little Women’s James Norton

Actor James Norton, known for his roles in “Little Women” and “The Nevers”, has been chosen to be part of the cast for the upcoming Season 3 of “House of the Dragon”. In this new HBO fantasy drama series, Norton will play the character Ormund Hightower, a figure who was previously referenced during the second season.

Otto, nephew of Lord Ormund Hightower, cousin to Alicent and Gwayne, is currently leading his Oldtown forces towards King’s Landing in support of his house amidst the ongoing conflict with Rhaenyra. As one of the main characters in George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, Lord Ormund was known for wielding a Valyrian steel longsword named Vigilance during the Dance of the Dragons.
