It has been confirmed that Marvel Studios is working on Black Panther 3, where reports suggest that Achebe will be the primary antagonist and Namor the Sub-Mariner will reappear.
The movie could delve into fresh disputes inside Wakanda as well as other areas. There are whispers that Marvel might present a different T’Challa character, and it seems conversations about casting are already happening. These changes signal the upcoming chapter of Wakanda’s narrative within the MCU.
In their latest update on platform X, blogger MyTimeToShineHello has shared some intriguing insights. They suggest that Chinua Achebe may take on an antagonistic role in the upcoming Black Panther film, number three, while also hinting at the return of the character Namor.
In the third issue of Black Panther Vol. 3, we’re introduced to Achebe, a shrewd and devious adversary for the Black Panther. He employs deceit and psychological tactics to undermine Wakanda, causing instability. His past is marred by a devastating act of betrayal that pushed him over the edge into insanity, and there are rumors of a pact with Mephisto. Achebe has masterminded coups within Wakanda’s government and infiltrated its leadership, making him one of the Black Panther’s most formidable enemies.
It’s believed by many, including this writer, that Achebe will be portrayed by Denzel Washington.
