Dead By Daylight enthusiasts have plenty to anticipate in February with some fresh skins on offer, the reintroduction of the 2v8 mode, as well as the Public Test Build (PTB) for Chapter 35. Arriving in March, Chapter 35 will present a new killer – marking the last licensed villain for Year 9. Prior to the arrival of this new killer, we can examine the most popular Dead By Daylight killers and survivors statistics for the year so far by analyzing data from January 2025.
Dead By Daylight most and least popular killers January 2025
Hey there fellow Dead by Daylight enthusiasts! I’ve got to say, Nightlight is a total game-changer when it comes to gathering stats for our favorite horror survival game. Now, let me clarify that these aren’t the official numbers straight from Behaviour Interactive, but instead, they’re compiled through data pulled from thousands of matches we’ve all played and uploaded. So, next time you’re wondering about the latest killer or survivor stats, be sure to check out Nightlight!
In January 2025, the statistics for the top killer span from the 2nd to the 30th, encompassing a total of 19,800 games. According to these figures, Huntress emerges as the most preferred choice among killers, followed closely by Wesker in second place. The Blight comes third, Michael Myers holds fourth position, and The Wraith rounds off the top five.
In our previous discussion about the top killers in Dead By Daylight back in November, the rankings have undergone some significant changes. Huntress still holds the number one spot as the most popular antagonist, but Dracula has experienced a steep decline and is now ranked tenth. On the other hand, Wesker climbed up from third place, and Blight moved up from fifth. Michael Myers maintained his fourth position, while The Wraith saw a remarkable increase in popularity, jumping to fifth place.
Regarding the least favored killers, The Hag ranked last, followed closely by Skull Merchant in second-to-last position, with The Twins coming in third from the bottom. However, it’s worth noting that The Hag and Skull Merchant have stayed at the bottom, but there’s some positive movement: Freddy Krueger moved up from the bottom five to the 12th spot, and there’s a possibility they could move even higher in February due to their recent balance adjustments.

Dead By Daylight most and least popular survivors January 2025
In the period spanning from January 2nd to 30th, 2025, the top Dead By Daylight survivors were made up of a significant number of players, totaling 91,891 individuals.
In the recent rankings, Sable Ward consistently topped the list, a trend that started when she charmed players back in early 2024. Nea Karlsson followed closely in second place, while Kate Denson took third, Feng Min ended up fourth, and Mikaela Reid placed fifth.
In the latest rankings, all of the most frequently surviving characters were female. Interestingly, there have been some shifts compared to last month. Mikaela fell from the second spot to fifth, and Feng Min moved down from third to fourth. Kate Denson advanced from fourth to third place, while Nea Karlsson unexpectedly entered the top five and secured her position at second.
Regarding the least favored contestants in this survival game, the ones who ranked at the very bottom were Jonah, Yoichi, Detective Tapp, Haddie Kaur, and Ash Williams from Evil Dead. Unlike in November, there wasn’t a bottom five category for Quentin Smith. A noteworthy difference between this round and November is that only a few males made it to the top 10 most liked survivors. Leon fell from eighth place, and Dwight barely managed to secure tenth.
