The Avenue recently unveiled its initial, official ‘Trailer Locked’, offering a glimpse into the impending horror-thriller with Bill Skarsgård portraying a character who finds himself ensnared within a car trap that was set by Anthony Hopkins.

What happens in the Locked trailer?

In the heart of the movie, we follow Eddie (Skarsgård), an individual attempting to steal a high-end SUV. However, he discovers that the vehicle is not what it seems – it’s a cleverly devised trap orchestrated by William (Hopkins), a self-proclaimed vigilante with a penchant for teaching lessons the hard way. The movie presents Hopkins primarily in voice form, but the trailer hints at him making a physical appearance somewhere within the film’s narrative.

Locked is set to premiere in theaters on March 21, 2025.
