I’m thrilled to share that Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for “Running Point“! This highly-anticipated series centers around my character stepping into the limelight as she assumes command of one of the top basketball teams. Can’t wait to see more!
What happens in the Running Point trailer?
As a gamer, here’s my take: I’m stepping into the shoes of Isla Gordon, daughter of a legendary L.A. Waves family. After my brother gets tangled in some hot water, he hands me the reins as team President. Now, it’s time to show everyone I’ve got what it takes to lead this storied basketball clan, and face whatever challenges come my way.
Running Point is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix on February 27, 2025.

Joining Hudson in the cast of Running Point are actors like Brenda Song, Drew Tarver, Scott MacArthur, Fabrizio Guido, Toby Sandeman, Chet Hanks, Jay Ellis, Max Greenfield, Justin Theroux, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Roberto Sanchez, Uche Agada, and Dane DiLiegro.
This comedy series is produced by the creative trio consisting of Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen. Notably, Stassen serves as the showrunner for the 10 episodes in this series.
