Despite an unexpected change in plans, IShowSpeed found himself standing in as Lima’s Mayor for an hour at the request of Mayor Rafael López Aliaga. This spontaneous event was broadcast live and later shared as a three-and-a-half-hour video on his YouTube channel.

In the Government Palace, adorned with a Peru National Team jersey, the internet sensation joined Aliaga and a protective security detail in a private room.
