Together Release Date Set for Dave Franco & Alison Brie Body Horror Movie

The new body horror film featuring real-life duo Alison Brie and Dave Franco has officially been scheduled for release.

The newly premiered film “Together” has been picked up by award-winning studio NEON, marking its official release date. This film, which made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival, is Michael Shanks’ first full-length directorial venture.

When is the release date for Together?

Together will hit United States theaters on August 1, 2025, courtesy of NEON.

In “Together,” a relocation to the tranquil countryside puts a romantic partnership to its breaking point, as an otherworldly experience instigates a drastic metamorphosis in both their affection, their existence, and even their physical form, according to the film’s summary.

Additionally starring in the movie are Brie (known for Mad Men and GLOW), Franco (recognized from The Disaster Artist and The Rental), as well as Damon Herriman (famous for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Better Man).

Brie and Franco collaborate on this movie with Erik Feig and Julia Hammer at Picturestart, while Tim Headington and Max Silva work together at Tango, Andrew Mittman at 1.21, and Mike Cowap at Princess Pictures. The financing for this film comes from Tango, Picturestart, and 30West.

As a gamer, I’d put it like this: “The executive producers for this game include Lia Buman and Neil Shah from Tango, Samie Kim Falvey from Picturestart, Kai Dolbashian from 1.21, Laura Waters and Emma Fitzsimmons from Princess Pictures, and a trio from 30WEST – Micah Green, Daniel Steinman, and Sarah Hong.

Apart from her roles as Turdy Campbell in Mad Men and Ruth Wilder in GLOW, Brie is widely recognized for starring as Annie Edison in Community and voicing Diane Nguyen in BoJack Horseman. Her acting credits span projects such as The Five-Year Engagement (2012), How to Be Single (2016), The Post (2017), Promising Young Woman (2020), Horse Girl (2020), and others. She has also been seen in The Disaster Artist and The Rental, and will next be appearing as Evil-Lyn in Masters of the Universe.

Franco has appeared in a variety of films including 21 Jump Street (2012), Now You See Me (2013), Neighbors (2014), If Beale Street Could Talk (2018), Love Lies Bleeding (2024) and many others.
