Prabhas has several upcoming movies lined up, one of which is being made with director Hanu Raghavapudi, and it’s tentatively called Fauji. There have been whispers that the movie might be based on Shah Rukh Khan‘s hit film Veer-Zaara, but OTTPlay has stated these claims as unfounded.
Based on the report, it’s stated that filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi has penned an exclusive screenplay for the movie starring Prabhas. This upcoming production is set to be a period piece, blending action and romance genres. Contrary to rumors, Fauji isn’t based on Veer-Zaara; instead, the actor from Kalki 2898 AD will portray an army officer in the film.
In a recent conversation with Rajesh Manne, Hanu revealed some intriguing details about the project and offered some fresh insights. He mentioned that the storyline was tailored for Prabhas and emphasized that the narrative was entirely original. The filmmaker expressed confidence that Prabhas would deliver an exceptional performance, stating, “The unique storyline, script, and backdrop will undoubtedly find perfection in his skilled hands.
Hanu Raghavapudi further mentioned that after viewers witness the movie on the big screen, they’ll recognize just how perfectly Prabhas fulfills their anticipations. He guarantees that his fans will leave satisfied with what they see.
Previously, Prabhas got hurt during the shooting of Fauji, specifically injuring his ankle quite severely. Consequently, news outlets reported that this injury forced him to cancel a trip to Japan. Unfortunately, as he had been looking forward to attending the premiere of his previous film, Kalki 2898 AD, in Japan, his injury prevented him from making the journey.
Instead of his original statement, he could say: “I wanted to express my gratitude to you all for the constant love and support you’ve shown me and my work. I had been eagerly awaiting a trip to Japan, but unfortunately, an accident during filming left me with a sprained ankle, forcing me to cancel my plans. Despite this setback, our distributor, Twin, has been exceptional in their support, ensuring that Kalki 2898 AD will hit theaters on Friday, January 3rd. I’m looking forward to being reunited with you all soon.
As your trusted lifestyle guide, I’m thrilled to share that beyond my current role as a “Fauji,” you’ll find me gracing the screens in several upcoming projects. You can catch me in Salaar Part 2, The Raja Saab, Spirit, and Kalki 2898 Part 2, among other captivating productions. Stay tuned!
