WWE’s Head of Content, better known as Triple H, has responded to the surprising turn of events during the Saturday Night Main Event broadcast. The event in San Antonio, Texas, offered viewers a total of four thrilling matches.
Initially, Rhea Ripley held onto her Women’s World Heavyweight Title by besting Nia Jax in their opening match. Meanwhile, Bron Breakker managed to maintain his International Championship after battling Sheamus. In the climactic main event, Gunther emerged victorious over Jey Uso to preserve his World Heavyweight Championship.
At the show, there was an exciting moment as Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens signed their contract for their future ladder match at WWE Royal Rumble 2025. The segment was overseen by Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, but things took a turn for the worse when Owens attacked Rhodes and aimed to give Michaels a piledriver.
In contrast, Cody Rhodes intervened in favor of Shawn Michaels by delivering a superkick to Kevin Owens. Subsequently, Michaels retaliated with Sweet Chin Music, knocking Owens unconscious. Yet another surprising incident unfolded during the heated encounter between Jacob Fatu and Braun Strowman.
In the course of their contest, Fatu repeatedly performed a sequence of running hip attacks. However, he was disqualified when he assaulted the referee. The excitement didn’t subside post-match, as Fatu leaped from the top rope to execute multiple double jump moonsaults, which left ex-Universal Champion Braun Strowman bleeding and astounding the spectators. Later on, Triple H expressed his views on these astonishing occurrences.
It seems that Jacob Fatu was allegedly performing acts of war crimes within the wrestling ring, causing Braun Strowman to bleed profusely – reminiscent of a character named Ricky. The audience’s chants for “Fatu” echoed those typically reserved for John Cena, suggesting he may be on his way to becoming a prominent figure in the company.
