During a recent interview on the Breaking Beauty podcast, when queried about whether her elder daughter, 3-year-old Jupiter, has watched any of her works, Tisdale mentioned that she viewed High School Musical the previous year as her husband, Christopher French, played it for her.
She exclaimed, “What on earth are you thinking?”, she explained, and it turned out that her child had mistakenly assumed Zac Efron was her father, confusing him for someone with dark hair. To clarify the situation, Tisdale explained to her daughter that Efron was not her real father. “She thought I said ‘Daddy’, but I replied ‘no, no, no!'”, Tisdale explained, implying that just because they both have dark hair doesn’t make him her father.
Later on, Tisdale pointed out that her daughter recognized she worked on Phineas and Ferb, a show where Tisdale voices Candace Flynn, the sister of the main character. However, her daughter wasn’t fully informed about Tisdale’s acting career. She explained that her daughter became thrilled when she spotted Tisdale at the premiere of Wicked, even though Tisdale herself had no part in the film.
In a recent statement, the actress from Scary Movie 5 admitted that her daughter was just beginning to understand her mother’s fame. This realization came after they attended Taylor Swift’s concert in Miami, as her daughter started wondering why people were taking pictures with her mom. “I believe she thinks that you simply take photos with people,” Tisdale explained further. “That’s what life is all about.
