Which actors are making a return to General Hospital this week? With some cast members leaving, viewers are eagerly awaiting the appearance of their favorite characters once more on the iconic ABC soap opera.
Immediately following, let me share with you the list of General Hospital actors making their comeback on the series this coming week.
Which actors and characters are returning on General Hospital this week?
The following cast members are returning to General Hospital:
Braedyn Bruner – Emma Drake
Beginning this week, Braedyn Bruner’s character, Emma Drake (previously portrayed by Brooklyn Rae Silzer), makes a comeback to General Hospital. Emma will reappear on our screens on January 28, becoming an essential figure in a narrative revolving around her grandmother, Anna, played by Finola Hughes.
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but admire the extraordinary backstory of Drake. Unlike most characters on screen, she was organically introduced into the show without the need for any unnatural circumstances. Her mother, Robin Scorpio-Drake, was HIV-positive, yet her father, Dr. Patrick, miraculously remained disease-free. This unique conception adds a layer of authenticity and intrigue to Drake’s character that sets her apart from others in the show.
Michael E. Knight – Martin Grey
As a fervent fan, I’m thrilled to share that Michael E. Knight’s character, Martin Grey, is making a comeback on General Hospital this week! You can catch him in the January 29 episode, where he’ll cross paths with Jane Elliot’s Tracy Quartermaine. Martin initially graced our screens back in 2019 and has had a series of appearances and departures from 2019 to 2024.
Charles Mesure – Jack Brennan
Actor Charles Mesure reappears as Jack Brennan in General Hospital starting January 30, featuring a storyline where he develops a closer bond with Carly Spencer, portrayed by Laura Wright. Previously, Brennan made his first appearance on December 1, 2023, and has come back to the show several times following earlier departures.
Parry Shen – Brad Cooper
Starting from January 31st, you’ll find me, Brad Cooper, gracing the screens of General Hospital! I’ve been fortunate to step into this role since May 2013, following in the footsteps of Marcus Toji who made a brief appearance as my character back in February 2013.
Brad Cooper has experienced several on-and-off stints with the show throughout his tenure, similar to many other cast members. Initially, he left in 2017 but reappeared in 2018. After departing again in 2020 following an arrest, he returned a few months later. Subsequently, Cooper then stepped away from the show between 2020 and 2024.
