Naga Chaitanya has been making headlines lately due to his personal life changes, as he’s just got married to Sobhita Dhulipala. But now, he’s focusing on his upcoming job: the Telugu survival drama Thandel. This movie is being directed by Chandoo Mondeti.
Before the launch, the movie producer of Chay’s film has made an unexpected statement. Given the usual reception to the actor’s recent films, Allu Aravind has expressed that Thandel is one of Chaitanya’s finest performances in his career.
During an interview with Times Now, Allu Aravind (the producer from Geetha Arts) stated, “Raju has given the finest performance of his career in this film, and I’m confident it will be the most successful movie of his career to date. This is a heartwarming love story told in its purest form.
On previous occasions, the creators of Thandel have shown faith in its potential success prior to its debut.
Previously, in November of the previous year, co-producer Bunny Vas expressed confidence that the film could easily earn over 100 crores at the box office.
Regarding the movie we were discussing earlier, it’s worth noting that Sai Pallavi plays a significant role in the romantic tale, and their on-screen connection has sparked quite a bit of praise and admiration. A number of the film’s songs have been released so far, and they’ve received favorable reactions from viewers.
According to sources, Thandel is believed to have cost approximately Rs. 75 crores, placing it among Chay’s priciest endeavors. Interestingly, one of its songs was reportedly produced at a large scale, boasting the participation of around 900 skilled artists and performers.
Thandel is all set to hit theaters on February 7, 2025.
