Ruben Fleischer to Direct The Sun Always Sets in the West for Lionsgate

Filmmaker Ruben Fleischer is currently in talks to helm Lionsgate’s forthcoming film titled “The Sun Always Sets in the West.” As of now, specifics regarding the storyline and characters remain confidential.

Apart from his contributions to the Zombieland film series, Fleischer has directed several other notable films for Sony Pictures as well. These include Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), featuring Tom Hardy, and Uncharted (2022) starring Tom Holland. Moreover, he recently took charge of directing two episodes in the St. Denis Medical series, which was recently renewed for a second season by NBC.
