A fresh sneak peek from “Your Local Spiderman” has been released, showing the scene where Peter Parker gets bitten by the spider, leading to his transformation into Spiderman.

What happens in the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man clip?

In an exclusive clip from IGN, we find Peter assisting a student named Nico outside their school. Just as they’re talking, a spider descends on Peter’s back. The spider eventually bites the back of Peter’s neck, causing him to faint. As he loses consciousness, the spider scuttles onto another person’s backpack.

The show includes Hudson Thames as Peter Parker, Colman Domingo as Norman Osborn, Eugene Byrd as Lonnie Lincoln, Grace Song as Nico Minoru, Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius, Kari Wahlgren as Aunt May, and Zeno Robinson as Harry Osborn. Notably, Charlie Cox will make his animation debut as Matthew Murdock/Daredevil before the release of Daredevil: Born Again.

The cartoon series “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” is created and overseen by Jeff Trammel. This storyline focuses on the transformation of Peter Parker into Spider-Man, offering a unique journey and a visual aesthetic that pays homage to the character’s early comic book origins. The animated show will also present various Marvel characters including Venom, Amadeus Cho, Pearl Pangan, Rhino, Scorpion, Chameleon, Speed Demon, Tarantula, White Rabbit, and many others.

On January 29, 2025, the first installment of Spider-Man in Your Friendly Hood will debut on Disney+. The initial launch will feature two episodes, with an additional three episodes following suit on February 5. Another set of three episodes is scheduled for February 12, and finally, the last two episodes are slated to air on February 19.
