It’s been hinted that a significant celebrity might make an appearance on the forthcoming WWE SmackDown, which will be held at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. This clue was subtly dropped by none other than the respected figure, Paul Heyman.
Previously, Heyman was seen on January 6 during the initial broadcast of WWE RAW on Netflix. On this occasion, he accompanied Roman Reigns in a contest against Solo Sikoa. This battle, fought under Tribal Combat regulations, aimed at identifying the genuine Tribal Chief and bestowed the honorable Ula Fala upon the victor.
The game erupted into turmoil as Tanga Loa, Jacob Fatu, Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso, Kevin Owens, and Cody Rhodes intervened. In spite of the disturbances, Reigns managed to emerge victorious by giving two spears to Solo Sikoa.
After the victory, Heyman was set to hand over the Ula Fala to Reigns. But, unexpectedly, The Rock appeared and seized the opportunity to present it instead. He handed the Ula Fala to Reigns and warmly hugged him as they exited the ring together.
Later that evening, in a private conversation backstage, Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman deliberated their upcoming strategy. Heyman proposed they required a stage to highlight Reigns as the Tribal Chief, inquiring about an appropriate date. Reigns briefly replied, “January 27th.

They stepped into a room bearing a “WWE 2K25” emblem on its door, suggesting a possible game unveiling and implying that Reigns might grace the cover. However, since then, neither Reigns nor Heyman has made an appearance on WWE broadcasts.
As WWE SmackDown gets closer, fans in Texas might be treated to the long-awaited comeback of the enigmatic Wise Man.
Paul Heyman teases a possible appearance for WWE SmackDown

In time, we’ll find out if Heyman shows up on the show. If he does, it’s uncertain whether it will connect to the WWE 2K25 announcement. Alternatively, another twist could involve Roman Reigns potentially joining the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
