Jonathan Glickman of Miramax expressed excitement about reviving Scary Movie with the Wayans brothers, who originally created this cherished franchise. Marlon, Shawn, and Keenen shared their enthusiasm by stating, “We can’t contain our excitement to join the latest Scary Movie installment and collaborate with each other once more. This franchise is one we initiated over 20 years ago, and we recall the roars of laughter echoing in the theaters. We eagerly anticipate recreating those moments. We are thrilled to team up with Jonathan Glickman and his Miramax crew to bring back the humor to cinemas, where it truly belongs. This is effectively a double reunion for us.

In July of the year 2000, the initial installment of the Scary Movie series hit the screens.
