MGM+ recently unveiled the official trailer for Season 4 of “Godfather of Harlem,” their critically acclaimed crime drama series. The spotlight is on Forest Whitaker, the esteemed actor who plays Bumpy Johnson in the show. Additionally, the trailer hints at the introduction of a new character, Rome Flynn, who will step into the shoes of Frank Lucas, a North Carolina native destined to become Bumpy’s loyal ally and strong protector.

When is the Godfather of Harlem Season 4 release date?

Godfather of Harlem’s fourth season is set to premiere on April 13, marking a year since the conclusion of its third season with 10 episodes. The upcoming season will see the return of notable cast members such as Ilfenesh Hadera (She’s Gotta Have It, Baywatch), Lucy Fry (Bright, Vampire Academy), Antoinette Crowe-Legacy (Geechee, Passing), Erik LaRay Harvey (Boardwalk Empire, Luke Cage), and others.

In Season 4, Bumpy Johnson persists in his brutal struggle for dominance over Harlem against New York’s Mafia clans, all while dealing with a new adversary, Frank Lucas – a formidable black gangster who has recently arrived. Additionally, following the sad demise of Malcolm X, Bumpy is forced to address his daughter Elise’s participation in the Black Panthers movement.
