That’s a wrap for Ted Season 2.
In January 2024, the initial season of the show “Ted,” produced by Seth MacFarlane, made its debut on the streaming platform, Peacock. Later in May 2024, the series was given a green light for a second season.
On Instagram, McFarlane has now announced that Ted Season 2 has finished filming.
Today marks the end of filming for Ted Season 2, and I can’t express enough gratitude to our exceptional writing team, actors, and production staff. They’ve made this season a sidesplitting success!

What else do we know about Ted Season 2?
At the moment, specifics about Ted’s second season are kept secret, since no formal summary (logline) has been disclosed. As of now, Peacock hasn’t revealed a release date for the new season either.
The Ted film series, which includes the original 2012 movie and its 2015 sequel, Ted 2, acts as a precursor to these stories. Seth MacFarlane was responsible for directing both films and lends his voice to the central character, the talking teddy bear named Ted.
In addition to MacFarlane, the cast of the Ted series also features Max Burkholder portraying John Bennett (previously played by Mark Wahlberg in both Ted movies), Alanna Ubach as Susan Bennett, Scott Grimes as Matty Bennett, and Giorgia Whigham taking on the role of Blaire Bennett.
In the spin-off series to the Ted movies, set in 1993, Ted the bear (played by Seth MacFarlane) has fallen out of the spotlight. He’s now back living in Framingham, Massachusetts with his teenage friend John Bennett (Max Burkholder), as well as John’s parents Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach), and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Despite being a questionable influence on John, Ted remains a devoted friend who’s always ready to take risks for the sake of friendship.
At the moment, you can stream all seven episodes of Season 1 for Ted on Peacock. On the other hand, the original Ted film is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Unfortunately, as of now, you can only rent or buy Ted 2 from various streaming platforms.
