In the spirit of the Lunar New Year, Season 5 of The Finals is hosting another special occasion. After celebrating Christmas and ringing in the new year, it’s now joining other multiplayer games in honoring the Lunar New Year. Following updates 5.6.0 with modifications to Cashout and Quick Cash, Embark has introduced a brand-new Lunar New Year event for The Finals, which brings significant gameplay and visual changes to maps.
The Finals Lunar New Year event
To mark the Lunar New Year, Embark has launched an exciting new event in The Finals, titled “Light The Way”. This unique event brings about a significant alteration in the gameplay mechanics.
As a devoted gamer, I’m excited to share that this week, I discovered Healing Barrels strategically placed across The Arenas in our game. These handy barrels can be utilized by tossing them at fellow players, thereby boosting their health. Should the need arise, you can also hurl these healing barrels at enemies if desired. An added bonus: throwing a Healing Barrel will create a lingering mist that continues to restore health over time. Enjoy the gameplay!
Besides introducing Healing Barrels, the Light The Way event has adorned four maps with fitting decorations in celebration of the Lunar New Year.

Additionally, following the captivating Light The Way event, Embark has introduced an alluring Snake Charmer collection, given that this is the Year of the Snake. This ensemble features a stunningly new gun cover and a chic coat.
The event is scheduled to finish in seven days, which means it will wrap up on the 30th of January, a day following the celebration of Lunar New Year that takes place on the 29th.
