Invincible Season 3 Adds Aaron Paul & 8 More Actors to Cast

The “Invincible” comic book series, penned by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, was first released on January 22, 2003, via Image Comics. On its 22nd anniversary this Wednesday, the official account of the animated adaptation of these graphic novels on the platform X (previously known as Twitter) revealed the new voice actors for Season 3. Among the newcomers are Simu Liu from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Aaron Paul, Kate Mara, Xolo Maridueña, and Jonathan Banks, among others.

Invincible Season 3’s cast to feature Aaron Paul, Simu Liu, Kate Mara

In a string of posts on X, the Invincible animated series revealed its fresh cast members for Season 3. Simu Liu takes on the role of the supervillain Paul Cha/Multi-Paul, twin brother to Dupli-Kate, while Aaron Paul voices Powerplex or Scott Duvall, sibling to Jessica Duvall. Kate Mara steps into the character of Scott’s wife Becky. Xolo Maridueña is heard as Dropkick/Fightmaster. As for Jonathan Banks, a fellow star from Breaking Bad, the post shared a “redacted” image, leaving us guessing which character he will bring to life.

Newcomers to the cast for this season include Christian Convery playing Oliver, Tzi Ma portraying Mr. Liu, and John DiMaggio lending his voice to The Elephant. Additionally, Doug Bradley has been added to the Season 3 cast, but like Banks, it remains a secret which character he will bring to life through his vocal talents.

The following actors are set to be part of the already established ensemble in the series:

1. Steven Yeun portrays Markus Sebastian “Mark” Grayson/Invincible.
2. J.K. Simmons takes on the roles of Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man.
3. Sandra Oh stars as Deborah “Debbie” Grayson.

And many more actors are also part of this exciting cast lineup.

In a world where superhumans roam, Invincible is set. At first glance, Mark Grayson appears as an ordinary son of Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man, an extraterrestrial and the mightiest hero on Earth. However, once Mark starts exhibiting powers, it’s revealed that Nolan’s true intention for coming to Earth was not peaceful coexistence but conquest.

As a devoted fan, I can’t forget the thrilling moment when “Invincible” premiered on Prime Video in March 2021. The first season wrapped up in April of the same year. What made things even more exciting was that Season 2 was split into two parts. The first half aired in November 2023, with the second half following in March and April 2024. Additionally, an Invincible Special was released on July 21, 2023. Now, I can hardly wait for Season 3 which is set to premiere on February 6, 2025!
