Director Prasanth Varma’s highly-anticipated project, Brahmarakshas, has been generating a lot of discussion lately due to speculation about who will play the lead role in the movie. Earlier, it was reported that Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh would be part of the film, but he ultimately had to withdraw for unknown reasons. Subsequently, there were whispers that Prabhas might take on the leading role.
It appears that Prabhas will not be part of the final cast for the movie, according to the latest news from Telugu Chitraalu. Instead, it’s reported that Rana Daggubati has been confirmed as the lead in Prasanth Varma’s directorial project.
According to the report, it’s been suggested that the movie’s lead role might be taken by the RRR star. If this is true, he would likely play a character with a hint of negativity. However, neither the filmmaker nor the actor has confirmed these rumors officially as of now.
In November, the director made a significant remark concerning his ongoing project, subtly suggesting the performer he’s collaborating with.
In conversation with Ram Venkat Srikar from Galatta Telugu, he mentioned that he is currently collaborating with a highly renowned actor. They’ve already designed a poster for their project, which they plan to unveil shortly.
Additionally, there are rumors suggesting that the director of Hanu-Man might establish a film universe of his own through Project Brahmarakshas and present it on the silver screen.
In related updates, Prasanth Varma has unveiled plans for a follow-up to his 2024 movie Hanu-Man, entitled Jai Hanuman. The upcoming film will see Rishab Shetty take on the main role, with promotional posters having already been revealed by the production team.
In the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, even Hanuman will participate, alongside movies such as Maha Kali and Adhira.
