Here’s why fans want Brynn Whitfield to be fired from RHONY
The climactic ending of RHONY season 15 has left viewers stunned, prompting numerous calls for Brynn Whitfield’s dismissal from the series. Throughout the season, Whitfield and Ubah Hassan’s friendship disintegrated, culminating in a heated argument during their Puerto Rico vacation. Hassan implied that Whitfield may have used her connections to secure her RHONY role by sleeping with someone. In retaliation, Whitfield disclosed her personal hardships, confessing to the group that she had been a victim of sexual assault and revealing that she had previously shared this traumatic experience with Hassan.
In the heat of trying to clear up some confusion within our gaming group, I stepped up and faced off against Hassan, who appeared startled and bewildered. Hassan swore up and down that she had no idea about Whitfield’s past misdeeds. She flat-out refused to remember any part of our private chat regarding this sensitive topic. As the argument raged on, Whitfield seemed intent on playing it cool, telling the rest of us girls that maybe Hassan just didn’t catch what I said. This left many of us doubting Whitfield’s story, especially when she started changing her tune about what really happened.
A strong reaction of disapproval from fans has arisen due to Whitfield’s actions being perceived as manipulative and inconsiderate in the intense scenes, leading them to demand that Bravo re-evaluates Whitfield’s role on the series.
User A posted on X, “If Brynn isn’t let go following this season, it shows a lot about the way they manage their network and production company. It’s appalling. How can someone fabricate something like that??? Absolutely unacceptable. Termination notice NOW. #RHONY.”
User B responded on Threads, “Brynn admitted to having LIED about Ubah by claiming Ubah was aware of Brynn’s history as a sexual assault survivor in order to win an argument with Ubah.
Now, how Bravo decides to tackle this situation remains to be seen.
