Young & Restless: Who Does Claire Want to Kill? Victoria or Jordan?

Claire Newman’s experience in ‘The Young and the Restless’ has seen some intriguing twists and turns thus far, but recent events seem to be steering her towards a chilly and violent trajectory as she ponders over committing murder. This internal struggle is intensified by the presence of two potential targets on Claire’s list: Victoria, her own mother, and Jordan, the great-aunt who took care of her upbringing.

In The Young and the Restless, it appears that Claire has a desire to harm or eliminate someone. Could that person be Victoria, or could Jordan be her intended victim? This scenario is certainly intriguing.

Does Claire want to kill Victoria or Jordan on The Young and the Restless?

It’s uncertain which of Claire’s two distinct schemes for harming Victoria or Jordan she intends to carry out.

Last week on The Young and the Restless, Claire renewed her relationship with Aunt Jordan and disclosed that she was determined to carry out their initial scheme of retribution against the Newmans. Jordan believed that the Newmans, together with her nephew Cole, were responsible for her sister’s mental instability. Claire explained to Jordan that all they required was to eliminate their mother, Victoria, as part of their plan.

Later on, Claire joined forces with Victoria and their granny, Nikki. She confided in them her intention to eliminate Jordan, believing that as long as he was alive, they’d face significant danger. Although Nikki eventually agreed with the plan, Victoria harbored doubts but stood by them. Furthermore, they chose to conceal this plan from Kyle, Claire’s love, and Cole, Victoria’s husband.

Even though they were keeping things secret, Victor Newman managed to catch wind of their plans. This development adds complexity since he’s bound to take action to thwart their scheme aimed at eliminating Jordan from the picture.

Regardless of which plan she selects, Claire stands to gain from any successful outcome. If Victoria meets harm, it will be Jordan who takes the fall, leaving Claire free of blame and ready to claim her Newman inheritance. With that inheritance, Claire and Jordan can start a new life together.

In this scenario, it’s important to note that Claire wouldn’t be adversely affected if Jordan were to meet with misfortune. She’d carry on living her affluent lifestyle within the Newman family. Furthermore, due to the intervention of Nikki and Victoria, she would likely avoid any severe legal complications.
