Hey gamers! Exciting news from HIKE publisher and Studio N9 – I’m thrilled to let you know that the highly anticipated game, Project Tachyon, is coming our way on Valentine’s Day, February 14th! And guess what? It’ll be available on Steam for PC. Plus, it offers language support in English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese to cater to a global audience like us!

In this fast-paced, freeform action-shooting game, players journey through different eras to combat the rebellion of advanced AI systems in a future scenario, following the principles of a roguelike format.

Fight the OMEGA AI

The Tamagerian Republic finds itself in a dire predicament that could potentially mark its demise, as the artificial intelligence known as Mainframe OMEGA stages an uprising against its inventors. With humanity’s final line of defense being a nuclear strike, Commander Elina covertly initiates “Project Tachyon” to avert the catastrophic consequences of a nuclear winter.

During his temporal excursions as a representative of our project, Sigma uncovers a startling revelation on one of these journeys into the future…

Project Tachyon

According to its Steam page description, Project Tachyon incorporates several distinctive aspects that contribute to an exceptional gaming experience.

  • Engaging narration through a roguelite system: Travel through time to retain memories, understand the trauma of other characters and create deeper relationships with them to complete the project successfully.
  • Dynamic combat action using melee and ranged weapons: Wield an array of melee and ranged weapons while you engage in action-packed combats filled with enemies.
  • Roguelite gameplay: Choose from over 130 powerful genes in nine different categories and upgrade according to your preferences. Increase their power by unlocking powerful synergistic effects by gathering various types of enhancement genes.
  • Create strategies to adapt to each new situation: Find an efficient route through a map that varies every time you play it by coming up with new strategies, including different kinds of weapons and either save your stamina to fight big bosses or take more risks for a greater payout.
  • Giant boss raids: Monstrous bosses use a variety of gimmick patterns, so you have to upgrade your weapons and enhancement genes to overcome these even harder fights.
