Fauji director Hanu Raghavapudi shares BIG update on Prabhas starrer period war drama; ‘We have created…’

Currently, Prabhas boasts an impressive array of projects. Despite the massive success of his last film, Kalki 2898 AD, he’s eager to delve into various genres for his future movies. One such project is a period historical drama with Hanu Raghavapudi, tentatively named Fauji.

As anticipation for each of these ventures gradually intensifies among followers, it was director Hanu Raghavapudi himself who revealed some insights into what viewers might encounter in his upcoming collaboration with Prabhas.

During an interview with Rajesh Manne, the director hinted that the audience can expect an unprecedented visual experience in the upcoming movie, one that’s sure to leave them astonished by the distinctive universe crafted specifically for this film.

According to him, “The movie I’m making with Prabhas will come as quite a surprise. We’ve built an entirely new and unique world specifically for this film.

For those not in the know, news circulated in December 2024 about Prabhas getting hurt during filming for Fauji. The whole ordeal kicked off when he failed to attend the premiere of his previous movie, Kalki 2898 AD, in Japan.

Afterward, the Star of the Rebellion shared a communication indicating that he had sprained his ankle during the production of his ongoing work.

Prabhas expressed his gratitude for the constant affection he receives from you and his work, mentioning that he had long anticipated visiting Japan. Unfortunately, he sustained an ankle sprain during filming and was forced to miss the trip. He regrets to inform you of this situation. Twin, our distributor, has shown exceptional support, and we are indebted for their tireless efforts in preparing Kalki 2898 AD for its release on January 3rd. Prabhas hopes to connect with everyone again soon.
