On her birthday, January 9th, she herself had to evacuate her home, and she confessed to experiencing “survivor’s guilt”. Fortunately, her house, situated near one of the fires, managed to survive the chaos. Notable celebrities like Milo Ventimiglia, Billy Crystal, and Paris Hilton are among those who lost their homes in these LA wildfires.

Furthermore, Dobrev expressed gratitude via her post for the birthday wishes she received and invited fans to contribute money to aid families impacted and displaced by the fires, no matter the amount.
