As a dedicated follower, I’m thrilled to share that on January 20, 2025, I had the privilege of witnessing the grand finale of Bigg Boss Tamil 8, hosted by the remarkable Vijay Sethupathi. In a sea of deserving contestants, it was none other than Naan Muthukumaran, at just 26 years old, who triumphed and proudly hoisted the trophy, basking in well-earned glory.
Just one day following his impressive victory, Muthukumaran posted a thankful video on his Twitter account, acknowledging the outpouring of affection and congratulations he’s received since his accomplishment.

The BB contestant, visibly proud, was pictured clutching the trophy. He reminisced about the moment when he was overwhelmed with awe and speechlessness upon discovering the immense affection the public had bestowed upon him.
In the segment, Naan Muthukumaran could be heard expressing, “I’d like to share not just this moment, but also recall my past experiences with you. You have bestowed upon me so many things, and they hold immense value and affection for me. I feel a great surge of love. My confidants informed me about the overwhelming response from beyond our circle. Upon seeing it, they felt immense pride. They questioned, ‘Is this truly for my benefit?’ This left me speechless.
For those unfamiliar, after winning the competition, Naan Muthukumaran received an impressive cash reward of INR 40.50 lakh, as he was crowned the season’s victor.
Apart from that, he additionally won 50,000 rupees during a cash box challenge within the Bigg Boss Tamil house. Furthermore, he was also given a stylish Royal Enfield sports motorcycle, valued at approximately 1,34,000 rupees.
Apart from Naam Muthukumaran claiming victory, Soundariya came in second place, with VJ Vishal taking third place as the first runner-up, and Pavithra finishing fourth as the second runner-up.
Naam Muthukumaran took the title, while Soundariya placed second overall. VJ Vishal came in third, just behind Soundariya, and Pavithra rounded out the top four positions in fourth place.
