Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao is a significant figure in both Indian cinema and politics history. This influential figure is still celebrated and honored for his remarkable accomplishments across various professional areas. On January 18, 2025, we remember the 29th anniversary of his passing. To pay tribute to this day, his grandsons Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram commemorated him with a unique gesture.
Early in the morning, Jr NTR and his brother Kalyan Ram made an appearance at the NTR Ghat in Hyderabad, where they visited to pay respects and commemorate their late grandfather’s memory.

The pair made their way into the compound, escorted by a substantial security detail, as crowds of admirers and journalists swarmed around them. One after another, Tarak and Kalyan laid garlands on the grand memorial adorned with blossoms, which honored NT Rama Rao, a symbol of floral tribute.
The brothers stood with interlaced fingers, showing reverence towards their grandfather as they maintained an impressive air of tranquility amidst the bustling throng around them. Notably, they were dressed identically in black attire, adding to their somber demeanor during their visit.
They too took seats before the memorial, maintaining a solemn quietness for several minutes as a tribute to their beloved grandfather.
