In a recent announcement, the mastermind behind the science fiction thriller series “Silo,” which premiered on Apple TV+ in May 2023, shared insights about the filming of Seasons 3 and 4 and possible release dates for these upcoming seasons. Silo creator says Season 3 is ‘already filming’

Graham Yost recently sat down to have a chat about the sophomore season.

During an interview with The Wrap, the show’s mastermind shared his insights about the finale of Silo Season 2, Episode 10, titled “Into the Fire.” Additionally, he provided some progress reports on the filming for Seasons 3 and 4. According to the publication, Apple TV+ renewed Silo for Seasons 3 and 4 back in December 2024.

When the interviewer enquired about the progress on Season 3’s filming, Yost replied, “We’re actually filming it already.” Surprised by the fact that the third season was already halfway through production, Yost went on to explain, “Yes, I know. We’ve all been keeping quiet about it. But we trust Apple, and they have their methods of handling things, and I get that.

To add to that, Yost shared some exciting news – the script for Silo Season 4 is already complete! Filming is expected to start approximately three months following the end of Season 3’s production.

According to The Direct’s report, it’s speculated that Silo Season 3 will likely debut on Apple TV+ sometime between late 2025 and early 2026. This prediction is based on the fact that filming for Season 2 lasted approximately 5 months and was released around 8 to 12 months later. Since the production timeline seems to follow this pattern, it’s possible that filming for Season 3 has already started, suggesting a similar timeframe for its release.
