Changelly Partners with Revolut to Boost Crypto Adoption in EEAChangelly, an instant cryptocurrency exchange, has announced a partnership with Revolut, a leading financial services platform, to provide users in the European Economic Area (EEA) with fast and secure crypto purchases at competitive rates. The integration enables users to purchase cryptocurrencies through Revolut Ramp, expanding the available payment options on Changelly’s platform. The new services are accessible via both mobile and web platforms, but availability is limited to EEA users.

Thursday, January 16 saw Changelly, a swift cryptocurrency exchange service, team up with Revolut, a prominent financial platform, for European Economic Area (EEA) users. This collaboration will ensure quick, secure, and competitively-priced cryptocurrency purchases.

As stated in a recent announcement, this integration allows users to buy cryptocurrencies using Revolut Ramp, thereby increasing the variety of payment methods accessible on the Changelly platform.

Enhanced Access to Crypto with Revolut Ramp

At present, the company provides access to a total of 30 different cryptocurrencies, among which are Bitcoin (BTC) priced at $99,031 with a 24-hour volatility rate of 0.2% and a market cap of $1.96 trillion, as well as Ethereum (ETH) valued at $3,327, showing a 24-hour volatility of 1.1%, a market cap of $400.44 billion, and a 24-hour volume of $27.32 billion. By integrating Revolut Ramp, users can effortlessly obtain these digital assets using their bank cards or Revolut Pay.

According to Zifa Mae, the company’s head of product, partnering with Revolut is designed to boost transaction smoothness for users on both platforms.

Mae mentioned that by combining Revolut Ramp, we’ve made it simpler for both Revolut and Changelly users to buy cryptocurrencies quickly, as transaction times have been significantly reduced and impressive purchase limits are now available. This efficiency, along with our competitive pricing, not only boosts our standing in the crypto market but also enables us to cater to a wider range of customers,” said Mae.

As an analyst, I’m sharing insights on a recent partnership between two services – let’s call them ‘Service A’ (like Changelly) and ‘Service B’ (like Revolut). This collaboration makes their new offerings accessible through both mobile apps and web interfaces, which is great news! However, it’s important to note that these services are currently only available to users within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Unfortunately, for our UK-based crypto traders, they won’t reap the benefits from this partnership due to regulatory obstacles in their country. This means they need to explore other options for now.

In conversation with Finance Magnates, Changelly shared that they aim to extend their newly developed services beyond the European Economic Area (EEA) into various global regions. The company is keen on improving its presence within the cryptocurrency market.

Changelly and Revolut’s Growing Crypto Footprint

Changelly debuted in the cryptocurrency market back in 2015 and now caters to over 500 businesses globally while serving a user base of approximately 7 million. This company is recognized for providing a reliable and speedy exchange service between cryptocurrencies, as well as APIs for onboarding and offboarding fiat, and solutions for processing crypto payments.

Instead, let me say that while some may know it as a traditional bank, Revolut is a leading financial technology company primarily focusing on cryptocurrencies, situated in the UK. It serves over 50 million clients worldwide by providing money transfer and conversion services.

Reflecting on last year, I successfully navigated a three-year journey that culminated in securing a banking license for my digital asset company. This new status enables me to legally extend lending services to customers within the United Kingdom’s jurisdiction, all while adhering to the country’s legal framework and ensuring compliance with its regulations.

During the same year, Revolut introduced ‘Revolut X’, a specialized division designed for purchasing and selling cryptocurrencies in the United Kingdom. Later in November, they disclosed an expansion of their cryptocurrency exchange to include an additional 30 digital currencies across the European Economic Area (EEA).
