Razorback Armada event guide

In the game Warframe, The Razorback Armada serves as a recurring event where players encounter a unique Jackal boss that must be defeated multiple times throughout the event. To engage with this boss, you’ll have to craft a unique cipher key using a scarce resource. Once you access the appropriate node, the battle offers lucrative rewards such as 200,000 Credits and an Orokin Catalyst, making it a worthwhile endeavor.

1. Begin by constructing your Razorback Cipher.

2. At the outset of the occasion, the Lotus will dispatch a message containing the blueprint for the cipher. You can fabricate it in your Foundry, just like any other item.

3. To build it, you’ll need to gather these resources:

1250 Credits
1500 Polymer Bundle
3 Gallum
4 Cryptographic ALU

Constructing this item should only require a single minute’s time, and in order to have enough for the occasion, it is suggested that you prepare a total of three items if victories over the Razorback are achieved successfully.

How to get Cryptographic ALU

Cryptographic ALUs can be acquired from hostile forces during Corpus Archwing missions in Jupiter or Neptune, as well as Railjack missions in Venus Proxima, Neptune Proxima, and Veil Proxima. For beginners, Galilea on Jupiter is a suitable choice, offering 2-4 ALUs per mission run. On the other hand, experienced players with upgraded Archwing equipment may find Salacia on Neptune more rewarding, as it can drop up to 12 ALUs per run.

How to fight the Razorback

Once constructed, place the decoder within your Gear Wheel. From there, you can join the battle in one of two ways: either navigate to it via the primary menu located at the top-right corner, just like with any other event; or access it directly through the Razorback node that will be visible on Earth once established.

The battle between the Razorback occurs in the Jackal arena, where initially, the mech is invulnerable to any harm. However, to inflict damage on it, you must climb up to the balconies flanking the arena and interact with the control panels. This action summons a Bursa creature that can be damaged, then hacked. Once hacked, the Bursa will attack the Razorback, bypassing its damage immunity and targeting its legs instead. After the Razorback has been weakened, you’ll have an opportunity to cause further damage.

As a gamer, I’ve got my work cut out for me: I’ve gotta hack into two consoles, one on each side of the arena, and take down two Bursas during each damage phase we’ve got a total of four phases for this. Once the Razorback is defeated, I can extract and do it all over again twice more to wrap up this event.
