Towards the close of the 1990s, the actor’s workload escalated so much that he was compelled to decline roles in upcoming movies like “Kadhalukku Mariyadhai” starring Thalapathy Vijay and “Jeans”, which eventually turned out to be successful films.
Advancing in his acting profession, this individual took on a principal character in the movie “Kandukondain Kandukondain,” sharing the screen with Mammootty and Ajith Kumar. Notably, the film showcased Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Tabu as the main female characters, with Aishwarya portraying the love interest of Abbas in the storyline.
It’s worth noting that this actor not only starred in movies but also took on significant roles, such as those in Rajinikanth’s Padayappa and the joint production of Kamal Haasan and Shah Rukh Khan titled Hey Ram. As his career advanced, he managed to excel in both leading and supporting roles.
After encountering various obstacles with his movie ventures, such as delayed productions or abandoned projects, the actor’s film career started to dwindle. Faced with financial struggles, he agreed to participate in numerous film projects as a solution.
Over time, with his acting career waning, the actor decided to relocate to New Zealand. There, he took on various low-paying jobs such as working at service stations, construction sites, and automotive repair shops. Eventually, he found a new path as an inspirational speaker. After some time, he returned to India with aspirations of rekindling his career in the film industry.
