The film is actually a follow-up to the 2023 release titled “Jailer,” with Rajinikanth in the starring role. In the initial part of the series, we see a retired jail warden living peacefully with his loved ones. Yet, their tranquility is shattered when they believe their police officer son to be deceased after he mysteriously vanishes.
In response to his son’s demise, he embarks on a mission of vengeance, tracking down those responsible and anyone suspected. As more details unfold, the narrative transitions into a story about a daring heist.
The film showcases significant parts for actors like Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vasanth Ravi, Mirnaa Menon, Yogi Babu, among others. Moreover, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff made brief appearances as special guests.
In the future, it’s been announced that Rajinikanth is involved in the production of his upcoming film titled Coolie. This movie is being helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and is known for its action-packed scenes. Notably, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Upendra Rao have significant roles within this project.
